Remodeling your bathroom can be a fun project. After all haven’t you always dreamed about having a luxurious bathroom? And it doesn’t have to cost a fortune! Why not start by adding a sensory faucet to your bathroom. It’s the first step to your new luxury bathroom.

Just because you are operating on a budget doesn’t mean your bathroom makeover has to look cheap. In fact quite the opposite if you know where to look and what to add to give that feeling of luxury.

Whether you are planning to do your own remodeling project or hire a contractor with a little creativity you can have a luxurious bathroom on a budget. So where to start.

Well lets start with the sensor faucet. Now you might think that’s an odd spot but it’s always good to have a focal point to build out around and the faucet is a great place.

For many years we’ve seen auto sensor toilets and faucets in public facilities but it is only recently we are seeing more of them appear in the private home market.

There are many benefits to the sensor faucet. The most obvious is that they are more hygienic because no grubby fingers have to touch the faucet and so germs aren’t being spread by the faucet. It is also very energy efficient.

The water temperature is pre-set so you won’t be wasting hot water and it’s also a great way to conserve water because many of these systems use less than one quarter of a gallon per cycle. Most turn off immediately once you pull your hands away so the savings on water can add up substantially over a year.

So there are just a few reasons why a sensor faucet is a good choice. Top that with design and style and you are on your way to an impressive looking bathroom.

Once you have your faucet picked out you can decide whether you want to change your sink or not. It’s common in renovations to not replace the sinks unless they are in really bad condition or they are really ugly.

Of course if you are stuck with one of those awful gold colors from the 1970’s in order for your bathroom to have a true makeover you will need to replace the bathroom fixtures. Good luck with that project as that’s a major and it’s also going to be a little tough on the pocket book.

Now that said for our project lets assume you have white fixtures. Once you replace your faucets you might consider choosing a new set for the shower as well and think about changing the shower to an energy efficient shower with all those great modern settings.

Next consider a new face lift with a new coat of paint. Paint is so cheap and such a powerful tool when it comes to remodeling. Consider doing a feature wall in a bolder color if your bathroom is big enough. Or just apply a soft color to the entire bathroom. Whatever you choose remember your paint is a big part of your bathroom statement so make it!

Some easy changes include a new shower curtain and new window dressings. Affordable changes that can make the world of difference. You should also consider changing out the bathroom accessories – soap dishes, lotion dispensers, and whatever else sits on the vanity counter.

Too often the bathroom is the room that gets ignored when it comes to makeovers and yet it’s one of the rooms that sees the most traffic. So why not be different from the rest and renovate your bathroom?

Why not start your renovations with a sensor faucet? The rest will follow. In no time you’ll have that luxury bathroom you’ve always dreamed of.
